I like to think of myself as a hopeless romantic. Although lately I haven't felt very hopeful to find that love. Boys have not always treated me so well, to the point where that is expected. And it gets tiring being the one who always gets let down because we live in a society where lust is more important than love. Intimacy is second to boredom. People don't write love letters anymore, hold hands at the bookstore, simple stares that make a public experience, a private moment between the two sharing the glance.
I want the knowing love. "To be known is to be loved." I love this quote, as i believe it to be true. Someone who takes the time to learn what you love, what makes you happy, what makes you feel like a kid again. Someone who prioritixes your relationship to the highest level so that you can flourish.

A cup of coffee
A simple cup of coffee. I read a poem about coffee and tea. How coffee announces itself to the room and tea... well it's gentle and slow. It takes its time. Coffee is strong and declares the taste on your tongue while tea is merciful and pleasant.
I don't know why. But it sat with me and stayed.

Music is something that connects us. In so many ways, it can tekk people how we feel, it can make a moment even more special, it can become a staple in a relationship, and it can bring back memories of those not in our lives anymore.

Will you listen to the thousands of stories I will ramble on and on about? Will you do your thing while i sit and go off into my other world so that we can spend time together in our own space. Will you love me in my transportation and journey to other lives?
